REQUIRED PRE-LICENSING COURSE INFORMATION –
REGULATORY CHANGES UNDER THE DODD-FRANK ACT: TRID
About this course
In 2010 President Obama signed into law the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act AKA The Dodd-Frank Act. This regulatory reform affects the way real estate licensees, lenders, title companies and other affiliated businesses conduct business. Over the last few years federal regulatory reforms were rolled out, some withdrawn, some amended, some announced and then delayed and finally, implemented — it’s been quite the whirlwind!
With the most significant regulatory changes finally effective, the state licensing authorities announced changes to the state licensing examination to reflect the changes.
1st Choice Real Estate School has developed this course to cover this new material. Due to these changes, completion of this 3-hour course is highly recommended.
At 1st Choice Real Estate School we are committed to providing the most up-to-date material to best prepare you for the state licensing examination. We want you to pass the 1st time! If you have questions regarding these changes please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
